The BarWD Ranch Institute for Ranch Management is an educational institution designed to equip the next generation of ranchers with the fundamentals needed to succeed in today’s competitive global economy.

 

Located on 2,000 acres in the Loess Canyons of western Nebraska, we rotationally graze over 200 head of black Angus cattle in a management intensive grazing system. The cattle calve in-sync with nature, on green pastures and graze year-round as they are rotated through over 35 paddocks.

 

BarWD utilizes a seven-day estrous synchronization protocol and artificial insemination in our breeding program.

Additionally, the ranch is predominantly powered via solar.
